At Kaydar we work closely with Education in the Community supporting both tutors and students who wish to participate in courses such as:
Skills for life awards, Employability skills, Healthy Cooking, Word Power, Drama, Arts & Craft, Shopping on a budget , Basic IT Skills
These personalised learning programmes are designed so you can choose from a variety of vocational subjects as well as personal development learning to help progress to further training or employment.
As an organisation Kaydar recognise the importance of providing development opportunities for all service users. As a recognised ASDAN registered centre Innovations offer a choice of over 70 modules within the ASDAN framework providing many opportunities for service users to achieve nationally recognised qualifications. Divided into themes the framework offers the opportunity to develop communication and numeracy skills, participate in creative studies, learn and discover a variety of different Cultural experiences, discover how to live more independently, participate and enjoy Leisure, recreation and sport activities, and plan personal development encompassing the ethos of person – centred care. ASDAN opportunities are completely flexible and are embedded into a full range of activities and opportunities accessible for all service users.
